apt-get install libio-socket-ssl-perl fails
I am trying to carry out an apt-get update and apt-get install libio-socket-ssl-perl on my Readynas duo v2 which has 5.3.13 s/w. I have attached a word doc of the install log which shows the errors ...
My bad, I thought OS5.x was lenny (Debian 5), but I guess it's squeeze (debian 6). Try adding these:
deb http://archive.debian.org/debian/ squeeze contrib main non-free deb-src http://archive.debian.org/debian/ squeeze contrib main non-free

many thanks..... been trying all the suggestions to get IO::socket::SSL installed and this one worked for me...
