But I had utorrent on this computer. Now I wanted to try to auto link and try bit torrent on the nas. I installed your monkey for firefox and all looks good per your instruction.
Now If I click the torrent, it's still associated with utorrent. How do I make it be associated with greasemonkey and your script, intead of utorrent?
I tried to manually copy the torrent link location into the ready nas torrent browswer but doesn't link. I had to download the link to the desktop then upload to bittorrent ready nas for it to work.
Thanks ahead for your help.
That's really quite bizarre - I did almost the exact same thing as you, with no issues at all. I didn't have to do anything with file associations - the script seems to "grab" the link before anything else happens.
OH! Actually, some places do funny things with their torrents - for example, tvtorrents.com torrent links don't work, but they do some strange things with their URLs, so I sort of expected to have problems there.
Do you see the +NAS image in green next to your target links? What if you just tried a random torrent off of thepiratebay.org? Those have always worked wonderfully for me.
As I understand it, all this code does is the equivalent of sending the link to the interface, just the same as you'd do it manually, so if manually entering a .torrent link doesn't work then I expect this script won't either.
