BitTorrent, how do I set it up and use it?
I have the BitTorrent addon, bur I cannot find any information on how to use it. Even the ReadyNAS manual doesn't give me any answer.
I open the download manager, but I don't know what to do next. Where do I find the torrents?
And what does Add Torrent From URL and Add Torrent From File mean?
There is a Support link on the page, but it doesn't lead to anywhere: Page not found.
Any help appreciated. I need to know the basic things here.
Regards

- NexcisAspirantJan,
Go to your favorite Torrent website, I like isohunt.com, and find the torrent you want. Instead of left clicking to download through your normal BitTorrent client, right click, go to properties, and copy the URL (make sure it ends in .torrent). Paste the URL into the Add Torrent From URL line and then click Add. If it is a valid URL, then the Torrent will be listed and start shortly. - JantiAspirantThank you very much, Nexcis!

Jan - KoenDegenAspirantHello,
I actually had the same question as jan,
But when i paste the url into the Bittorrent download manager, I press add, It says Torrent URL has been sent.
I press okay, and nothing happens.
What am i doing wrong?

- KoenDegenAspirantOk i installed The Transmission addon, BUT, When i try to open it in frontview, It asks for a username and password, This might be a stupid question but, I diddnt even fill in a username or password? And it doesnt accept the username and password i use to logon to frontview.
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThe default username and password for the Transmission add-on is mentioned in the add-on thread: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=24271
- KoenDegenAspirantThanks alot mdgm! Gues that'll do, i'll try out once im home.
- JantiAspirantThat was useful for me too, because I have had the same problem. I even contacted NETGEAR about it, but didn't get any answer.
But I still don't understand which file I should chose: X86, Sparc or Arm? I have the Duo system. I cannot find any instructions on how to install it either. Anybody knows?

It depends on whether you have a Duo V1 or a V2. What firmware version is listed on the home page of Frontview?Janti wrote: That was useful for me too, because I have had the same problem. I even contacted NETGEAR about it, but didn't get any answer.
