yep, I agree - the 'official' version of BTsync does not work on a RN102, another truly epic failure.
It exhibits the same behaviour as other apps, it loses the config after a reboot, arrggh!
I've since tried old versions/new ones, latest.
I feel an absolute idiot - as I recommended this solution to loads of people at work, only for it to waste an immense amount of time and worry, trying to sort the sync out, as I ended up taking extra copies/backups to ensure data was not lost!
The RN102 goes back into it's box again, as I gave up on it a couple of months ago, as the DLNA database kept rebuilding itself after a reboot (ps - that particular issue does seem to be fixed on 6.1.7)
BTW - I got myself in a right mess when trying to uninstall/reinstall.
you will need to delete the btsync folder before reinstalling, or you'll get some odd '2002011?' or something similar error when trying to launch the reinstalled program.
ps - poussin, thanks for all your help with the apps that you've built and provided troubleshooting, you've kept this line of readynas's alive, giving hope to many (along with a few of the others on the forum. Netgear, should ensure the problems do not exist in the first place)
I really hope the Jedi, step in to provide the love these units deserve.
Jedi, please sort out
BTsync issues (it's superb when it works, my phones/tablets sync'd wonderfully well until the time of the reboot!)
on the wishlist...
i) Backup Button - on legacy using OS6, to at least kick off a series of backups in the defined order.
ii) Readycloud - on legacy using OS6
