Cacti app doesn't work
Hi all, It seems after updgrading some weeks ago to OS6.6.1 Cacti doesn't work any more.( I just checked it today) I removed the Cacti App, but now I can't find it anymore in the Apps to reinsta...

It is not listed in ReadyNAS apps. Do you remember who the author is? Did you get this from available apps of admin page? Please include the model number of your ReadyNAS.

First I'm surprized I get a reply on this from Netgear, but I'm really appreciated...... txs for so far.
To the point:
Yes, before the upgrade it was listed and available in the admin page "Cacti", because I used it and installed also.
Before it worked fine and when I checked again all the graphics are broken/empty or even away, well what happens over here!!!?????
I have this (ReadyNAS Ultra 4), it function really good I'm happy with it even I changed last year all the 4 harddisks (for better one performace and online duration)!
I also took in the past a risc to upgrade this NAS from OS4..... (the rest I forgot at this moment) to OS6 with success and no problems at all!!!!!
The risk I took was a the best decision I ever have made, because all went soother and faster.
Great but after the last update to OS6.6.1 there are only problems!

Check your Internet connection. The files I removed was acually not the problem, because I checked on this forum if there are more people with this issue! And Yes, I'm not the only one how has this problem! And I also know that Netgear is busy with it. Berhaps a new upgrade to OS6.6.2? But I don't know?
So it sounds strange behavior, but there are more problems with this OS 6.6.1.
Toppic: Just take a look the Antivirus problem too " Lots of Virus detection after 6.6.1 Update"
One more small issue / problem to add sinds OS6.6.1 is operational:
"I'm losing all my network-drives that I have added" (I get red crosses (8 times) from the mapped drives, This PC)
(Message An error occoured while reconnecting E: to \\READYNAs\media Microsfot Windowns Netwrok: The specified network name is no longer available)
I rebooted my PC may times but no luck!!!!!!!!
In the logging of the NAS is nothing to see about this issue, but I found out that rebooting the NAS is the only right solution.
After reboot the NAS, all network-drives are back alive! Strange way ...... right? (all this is happens after the last OS6.6.1 upgrade, before NO PROBLEM!
My question is: "Does my problem now include this OS6.6.1" version issue or not?
Can I reinstall it as before in the admin page?
Or do I need to download it and add it?
Please advise me?

Antivirus isn't automaticly updating, but after Rebooting he wil update once!

Hello klausn,
Can you try to reboot the NAS then turn off AntiVirus then reboot it again and see if you will still get those reports and the problems you are encountering?

Thanks for reply and I'm polite to you! becaue we need each other to overcome and got to a solution, right?
Sure I have done it already (because I need to establish my network-drives) otherwise I cann't connect to the NAS!
AnitVirus also turned off and rebooted the NAS als well.
AntiVirus state is on the (Admi Page) "green" - to udate it I need to turn it off (disabled=red need to wait for it or just refresh the page) then turn it on by "enable" command.
(Remarks: I need to do this frequently).
AntiVirus from logs:
Fri Feb 10 2017 21:35:06 System: Antivirus scanner definition file was updated to 57.23038.
this is the last update, I did it manually!
inbetween there are no updates!!!!!!
