DNS-O-Matic add-on
Am just trying Super Poussin's new DNS-O-Matic add-on. Installed, disabled, modified the dnsomatic file and restarted the service. There doesn't seem to be a way to confirm that it's working. If I log into my account on the dnsomatic website, it just sits there saying "Waiting for first update" for both my dyndns and opendns account. Any way to confirm its proper installation and usage?
Thanks!
PS I forgot to mention I installed the 1.1 version that was updated a few hours ago (from 1.0 early this morning).

- super_poussinVirtuosothe addon normally install curl , can you apply it again ?
- bollarAspirantThanks for the hint -- curl must be somewhere on the machine -- when I changed the line to:
IP=$(curl -s http://myip.dnsomatic.com/)
It worked!

Thanks!
(or at least I think it worked -- but nothing on dnsomatic.com yet.) - bollarAspirantAh! curl was located in /usr/bin, not /usr/local/bin. I changed the two references in the script to that location and dnsomatic shows the update was successful. Cool!
- super_poussinVirtuosowill publish 1.3 to avoid this king of problem , sound strange curl is in another location for you
do you have Transmission ? - kashiwagiAspirantThe link for NV/Duo DnsOMatic 1.7 is broken :neener:

I do not have Transmission. This Pro just completed a Factory Reset and this is the only addon. - super_poussinVirtuosook perhaps it explain the curl difference :)
tansmission install curl on /usr/local/bin
but dnsomatic use a std curl debian package which seems to use a different path
problem is solved in last dnsomatic addon
for example :
IP=$(`wich curl` -s http://myip.dnsomatic.com/) - kashiwagiAspirantUnfortunately dnsomatic didn'r work :( If it's any help, I have transmission installed...
- super_poussinVirtuosoI have done a new version which should solve problem for people having system set-up to another language than English :)
