Dropbox add-on for Ultra6 linked but not syncing
We have a ReadyNAS Ultra 6 (loaded with four 2TB drives in RAID5 and containing about 1.1TB of data) that we recently updated to firmware 4.2.27. We installed the Dropbox add-on from rnxtras.com and ...

Okay, we disabled Dropbox for both the user and global, re-enabled it again (only for the global) and re-linked. Then we copied about 1TB of data into the /Dropbox folder and syncing started. Looking at the account on Dropbox, it appears that all the folders were created, but only about 600 files have been transferred (3.5GB). It does appear to be making progress, only it's going VERY slowly (less than 1.5GB/hour). At this rate, it will take a month to upload our data.

The Dropbox website says this can happen when uploading more than 300,000 files (which we may be), that a fix is in the works, and that we should make sure we are running the latest version of the desktop app. Obviously, we are not using the desktop app, but the ReadyNAS add-on. I see a button on the Dropbox Add-on configuration page that says "Enable Auto Update". Is this the NAS equivalent of updating the desktop app? Will enabling it incorporate the speed fix when Dropbox updates the desktop app? Are there any "cons" to enabling auto-update, or permissions that need to be enabled so it can work?
Also, will the NAS Dropbox Add-on tell us when syncing is complete somehow?
Thanks.
