As a temporary work around, or for others that are looking for similar setup, I've been using http://www.dnsdynamic.org/ lately for a few hosts. It's a free service, and a simple shell script in cronjob can keep it updated.

#!/bin/sh
EMAIL=my.email@gmail.com
PASSWORD=mypassword
DOMAIN=myhostname.dnsd.info
IP=`curl --silent http://myip.dnsdynamic.com/`
curl --silent --user "$EMAIL:$PASSWORD" -k "https://www.dnsdynamic.org/api/?hostname=$DOMAIN&myip=$IP"
