Having issues with Dropbox for R4

Ah, well. While futzing with this I installed something and wasn't paying attention and it wiped a bunch of key netgear packages. All of those damn things should be locked in place, but they aren't. It occurred to me I should write a script to do that, but I never went after it. The apt sources.list is complicated when you are using virtualbox. Unfortunately I think I need to do a full reinit to recover from this one. Sigh. Is there a way to do a full reinit of the OS without losing c?
