Hi super poussin,
I have been trying for the past few hours to set up air video to play on my Ready Nas Ultra 2. I am able to open air video and have it connect to the server and then the blank media file is all that shows up.
I understand that to fix this, I need to change the readynas.properties file to the folder where my media is stored.
I am not experienced with SSH protocols but understand that this is the way to fix this problem.
Would you mind answering the following questions for me:
1. I have downloaded the SSH add on for the Ready Nas and rebooted after installing. What program should I use on the Apple laptop to access the SSH - Terminal?
2. What is the exact sequence to enter into terminal:
\\yournasip\webroot\AirVideo - I have tried entering this but it does not work. However, I am afraid this might be because I have the IP address wrong. Where would I find the correct IP address for the server?
3. Once accessing the properties file, should I just change it to the name of the folder where the media is stored. Also, what should the permission/shares be set to for this folder ?
Thank you for all the help. I really appreciate it.
