How to remove Logitech Media Server
I installed LMS and no longer want to use it - I have removed the app but whenever I reboot the readyNAS LMS is running, but the App is not in installed Apps so I can't turn it off

Hi Schtevo,
What FW is your unit on? Also, what version of LMS you've had in your system?
Kind regards,
BrianL

Hi BrianL
NeadyNAS 102
Firmware: 6.5.1
This is the LMS Status:
Logitech Media Server Version: 7.7.3 - 1375965195 @ Mon Aug 12 03:09:39 PDT 2013
Hostname: ReadyNAS
Server IP Address: 192.168.0.2
Server HTTP Port Number: 9000
Operating system: Debian - EN - utf8
Platform Architecture: armv7l-linux
Perl Version: 5.14.2 - arm-linux-gnueabi-thread-multi-64int
Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.34_01 (sqlite 3.7.7.1)
Total Players Recognized: 0
LMS has been uninstalled from the ReadyNAS so I cannot see it in installed Apps, but it appears on all network devices on the same IP as the readyNAS
Hope you can help
Steve.

May I ask how this was fixed? I am in the same situation. I have "uninstalled" the Logitech Media Server, yet there it is, an old version, too.

An admin from this page remotely logged in and fixed it for me
