iOS and airprint
Hi all,
Anybody dare try to compile an add-on to enable AirPrint to printers connected to a readynas duo? Apparently it has been done fairly simple on a ubuntu box (http://www.micromux.com/2010/11/22/airp ... -on-linux/), but I have accepted that I do not have the skills so I was hoping that the intress was sufficient for somebody willing to write an add-on...

4.2.20 ?
Merry X-Mas..... - soremaniacAspiranthow is 4.2.20 doing... :-?
- WhoCares_MentorI've got an add-on ready for x86 ReadyNAS boxes that would offer AirPrint out of the box for every "known" printer. But there's a catch: It will replace some crucial parts of the core system, namely CUPS and Samba. While all the publicly available patches from Netgear are included I obviously give no guarantee that it won't break your ReadyNAS. Anyone willing to beta-test?
-Stefan - ReadyNASUserAspirantJust wondering... @WhoCares... is your approach based on this: http://www.fiorellonj.com/wp/2010/11/airprint-using-ubuntu-server-and-a-network-printer/?
@Chipra...any chance for this on Sparc? NV+ - WhoCares_Mentor

No, it isn't.
-Stefan - schalliolAspirantI just thought I'd chime in that I'd really enjoy an add-on that would enable me to use my Brother HL-4570CDW laser printer via AirPrint on my iPad and iPhones! If can't be part of the standard OS/Add-ons, would be happy to pay/donate for such an add on (looking at you super-poussin :D )
- PapagaiouAspirantHi WhoCares
What is the status for the addon for Cloud print? I tried myself manually but I got stuck to installing python-cups as well. I do not mind trying the addon.
