Is Transmission slower than µTorrent ?
I've tested the SAME torrent on Transmission (on my nas) and µTorrent on my pc:
the torrent on my nas would NOT connect to any peer or seed instead µTorrent was connected to 3 peers and was (slowly) downloading.
Obviously the ports are correctly forwarded and I enabled all the necessary options to find more peers in transmission client.
I'm using Transmission 2.42 and latest µTorrent as well.
Any Idea ?
thanks

- edgasketAspirantSome torrent sites only allow mainstream torrent clients like utorrent with their trackers etc, transmission or the normal bittorrent client won't work - bitsoup is an example.
- chtaminaAspirantThanks for the reply.
Is transmission the best torrent client available for our netgear nas ?
EDIT: I wrote a post in the Transmission forum

thanks - JarnoGGuideI've been using transmission for a while now and it's been working great for me. There are also add-ons available for µTorrent and rTorrent. I don't know if they are for the Duo though.
