Mailserver addon
As topic...
We can do almost whatever with our NAS'es but a mailserver addon does not exist or aren't even discussed anywhere....
This is a addon that should be on readynas extras....
Please make one!
a simple 2 domains with some webaccess and a nice gui for config would be ideal!

pleaseeee.)) - What like exchange? Don't 99% of ISPs block home grown mail server ports?
- Simple curiosity, what are the pros and cons of a home mailserver ?
- synology shipps zarafa as emailserver. Its a good free exchange alternative for linux systems.
So when i tried to compile zarafa i ran into several issues which held me back to get zarafa working.
The readynas duo is shipped out with an very old debian system. Lots of libraries like openssl, gnutls, perl are outdated (or doesnt exist on the system). You can't upgrade all of them because some depends on the frontview software (netgear webinterface and the backend stuff).
So trying to install the new libraries separably from the system is complicated because each libraries got dependencies and needs to be compiled which needs a lot of time.
If anyone is interested in compiling zarafa let me know it ;)
