I got this issue as well. I cant connect to Transmission after restarting the NAS, i have to turn of Transmission in frontview, even as it says it's not running, and then restart it to get the failed to start message, and after that it works as "intended". For me the issue showed it's face after installing another addon, and i cant seam to shake it. I guess whiping the system and starting over would work, but i sort of don't have anywhere else to store close to 6 TB worth of data. Even if it's mostly redundant copies, it's a hassle...
