New Transmission add-on thread

I can't help you with the specifics of configuring Transmission on a NV+ v2 since it is different from the Ultra 2 I'm using. However, I can tell you that using ReadyNAS Remote, you have full access to your ReadyNAS. This means that you have all the options as if you are on a local network with your NAS, including the admin page from your NAS (Dashboard) and the Transmission webGUI. You can also use software like Transmission Remote dotNET or Transmission Remote GUI to control the Transmission add-on (also over the ReadyNAS Remote connection).
