New Transmission add-on thread

My brother is in a different house. I wan to download the torrents while my computer is off and my NAS is downloading the torrent while I am away from the computer while it is turned off.

I'am running RAIDiator 4.1.7 and Transmission v2.42 and it's still eating up all the memory, even when i only have one active torrent. Is there any fix for this?

I managed to get Transmission working by a simple change of my Static IP address. However problems still occurring it seems to crash every now and again.

I have installed transmission 2.42 on a new NV+ (having never used it before).
I get the interface for "adding a torrent", but I get a blank for the "transmission interface". Anyone seen this issue before? :?

Quick question. Are you using the right password? The interface uses password1 for pass as default, while the "create torrent" use the NAS login credentials. Took me a while to figure out why the link to create torrents didn't work...

good question, i get a password popup for the "create torrent", but no password pop up for the "trasnmission interface" just a blank window the same size as the "create torrent" window.

You should be getting a password request for both windows. My advice would be to uninstall transmission, and reinstall it, but thats only coz i have no idea how to make it behave in the first place. There might be a "right" way to do it.

hmm, turned it off and on again a few time, turned the addons off and on again...... now the transmission interface comes up (and its password popup). Happy that it has started up, but anoyed also becuase i don't know what was wrong.

Is anyone having problems with it going inactive after a few mins after booting it on?

Deaf, not behaving like that here. Does it behave the same way regardless of how many torrents you got active? (how many do you have in transmission?)
