it should start by itself if transmission is set to enable in frontview.

I have exactly the same problem, when I start Transmission manually, I have a message : Transmission starts with errors. And it doesn't starts automatically when I reboot the nas.

I have a readynas Ultra 4.

So I just purchased the new version of transmission.

And apart from the new interface (which does not work well at all, had to revert to standard) I can see no differences? At least on my Duo v1.

Also, considering this new version was chargeable, will this be receiving free updates/patches, or is every new version chargeable from now on?

You'd be better directing these questions at the Dev' of the paid for Transmission, "WhoCares?", or check again on his website where he explains the reasoning behind the charges and how it works for future releases.

I download 2.34b (just this one was without that error "invalid package")
but it now ask me for login and password, what I should type there :-) ?
