NewCS on ReadyNAS DUO!
Hi all, I dont know if this is the right place to post but... I managed to get my hands on a NewCS verision compiled for ReadyNas. It seems to be working all right exept the Kernel for ReadyNAS do...

Hi all,
First of all i beg your pardon if i'm not in the right place to post this question...
I tried to install newCS on my ReadyNAS PRO.
I saw that this files are compiled for the ReadyNAS DUO but i hope that this could be ok also for my ReadyNAS PRO...
but may be i'm wrong...standing on the result i had...
I follow the instructions posted before; i create a new directory called newcs1 inside the directory usr/local/bin then i put all the files inside.
nas_1:/usr/local/bin/newcs1#
ls -la
total 1428
drwxr-sr-x 2 root staff 4096 2009-05-06 00:02 .
drwxrwsr-x 3 root staff 4096 2009-05-06 00:04 ..
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root staff 112538 2009-05-06 00:02 ftdi_sio.ko
-rwxrwxr-x 1 root staff 816024 2009-05-06 00:02 newcs
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root staff 1635 2009-05-06 00:02 newcs.xml
-rwxrwxr-x 1 root staff 221 2009-05-06 00:02 start
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root staff 496947 2009-05-06 00:02 usbserial.ko
launching the commands i saw in the previous post i had the followings error messages:
nas_1:/usr/local/bin/newcs1# insmod usbserial.ko
insmod: error inserting 'usbserial.ko': -1 Invalid module format
nas_1:/usr/local/bin/newcs1#
nas_1:/usr/local/bin/newcs1# insmod ftdsi_sio.ko
insmod: can't read 'ftdsi_sio.ko': No such file or directory
nas_1:/usr/local/bin/newcs1#
nas_1:/usr/local/bin/newcs1# ./newcs -c newcs.xml
-bash: ./newcs: cannot execute binary file
nas_1:/usr/local/bin/newcs1#
I hope that someone may have time to dedicate in helping me to solve this problem...and i'll thank you all.
