So if I make a script with the lines:

insmod /usr/local/bin/newcs/usbserial.ko
insmod /usr/local/bin/newcs/ftdi_sio.ko
/usr/local/bin/newcs/./newcs -c newcs.xml

and do as you say - it should do the trick?
