Well, my major intend was not file sharing but the ability to have shared access to calendar and address book (using caldav respectively carddav).
I'm using ReadyNAS Duo (v1, Sparc) and the ownCloud Addon - it works very well with iPad2 and iPhone 3GS (caldav, carddav).
For my Android devices (Galaxy Gio, Galaxy Tab 7) I'm still looking for a good app.
