PHPMyAdmin problems

Hi all,

I've installed MySQLON, php, PHPMyAdmin, Torentflux all via addons

When I launch Torrentflux I get the error message:
!Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in /c/webroot/torrentflux/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 354"

When I launch PHPMyAdmin I get the error message:
"Cannot load mysql extension. Please check your PHP configuration. - Documentation"

can anyone suggest any steps I have missed?

Is there already a solution for this? I have the exact same problem:

1) phpMyAdmin gives me: Cannot load mysql extension
2) All needed plugins (from PHP5_5.2.13-readynas-1.0.1.bin) are loaded as shown here: http://o7.no/tQ8aF1
3) Typing in php in the console gives me:
Deprecated: Directive 'register_long_arrays' is deprecated in PHP 5.3 and greater in Unknown on line 0
Deprecated: Directive 'magic_quotes_gpc' is deprecated in PHP 5.3 and greater in Unknown on line 0
