Qbittorrent wont download certain torrents

had a look at the qbittorrent changelog and it is a bug that has been fixed in later versions( BUGFIX: Remove 100kb limit for torrent file size in Web UI)
I have been using Qbittorrent because it has the best proxy settings ( i use a vpn and my isp throttles torrent traffic so i have to use socks5 ). Do i have any other options ie different torrent client with proxy settings or a vpn for my readynas?
