- 6rilAspirantI got a question about QBittorrent
right click on a torrent in the list gives access to the priority sub-menu, where you can move the torrent up or down.
but it reflext on anything, I can't see any priority order anywhere!
somebody knows if it actually does something? or is it some leftover from the WebUI on other OS ? - aasimenatorAspirantCan I get something a bit complex than just a simple torrent downloader?
Its really hard to secure the torrent downloading when a shared NAS is being used by multiple users.
I have tried Transmission but i have never got it to work, it does not allow to change password (Major issue as the nAS is internet accessible), it does not allow multiple logins & it does not work at all like other users in the other transmission thread stated that they cannot get it to download to a different location other than what is set as default.
So i want to use QBittorrent & it works perfectly fine but it does not allow multiple user access (it does but its single login & all torrents added by the other is visible which i dont want)
which brings it to my question, Is there anyway to have 2 copies of Qbittorrent running on the same NAS? the 2 copies will be off course running on different ports & will have different password.
I had installed Qbittorrent from the Apps section, then i look for the app again but could not find it in the apps only showed in installed apps, i then tried to get a .deb file for it & install it again by manually uploading hoping that i will create a second copy but it did not it just reinstalled it
So how can i install another copy of this app? - 6rilAspirantgood luck with your question aasimenator, it seems to me that there's not a lot of qbittorrent users here, or at all...
Why don't we have UTORRENT for readyNAS that would simply solve SOOOO MUCH : /- - super_poussinVirtuosoAlready answered for utorrent
For multi copy of qbittorrenr it will require a 2d addons version - 6rilAspirantpoussin, can you adapt/modify feature of qbittorrent or you you just make it runnable on readynas ?
cause if you do can modify, I've got WONDERFUL suggestions for you. Things that would turn this dodgy torrent client into a decent one. - 6rilAspirantso after a while... i try to check is there's been some updating done to qbit....
what a mess !
i got this : version 1.0.3 (in netgear apps)
and this: qBittorrent v2.9.8 (Web UI) (in qbit client)
I check poussin dropbox : one qbit file and it's 1.0.2
I then check on the qbittorent forum and it seems that the webui is at version 3.1.3 (seems)
who know, maybe since version 2.9.8 they improved the saving system ??? - 6rilAspirantbump
+ is there a new version of qBittorrent? already or planned? mine is : qBittorrent v2.9.8 (Web UI) or 1.0.3 in apps - 6rilAspirantIS this Forum completely DEAD ????
