Thinking again I think the Remote client might have changed a bit.
If it's the same as on Mac OS X you should see options to connect to your Shares, Manage the NAS (i.e. access web-admin interface) and to ReadyDROP. You'd need to use the Shares option to connect to ordinary shares on your NAS. This is done via right-clicking the ReadyNAS Remote icon in the tray on Windows.
