Readynas remote on windows 8?

Same here. Running Windows 8 x64 Pro

Just for thought but did you check to see that all port/ip settings were as they were intended to be? Also since there hasn't been an update since last year maybe readynas remote is using a different .net or java package if it didn't install them on install.

I'll try windows 8 on my virtual box but even vista 64 bit is having fun.

May be vista but I re fixed my ip settings I can log in to the remote app with no nasty error like above.

I've PM'd CAP1 about some Readynas Remote issues and have had no reply for over a week. Its actually my 2nd PM to him with no reply. CAP1 was the lead (owner) of Leaf Networks, which Netgear acquired a couple years back. I think he's also the lead front man @ Netgear Storage now that yoh-dah and Chirpa have left for greener pastures.

Hopefully he'll begin to participate more in these forums discussions. :worship: And if not CAP1, someone please! :werd: We miss our Jedi's who did such a great job of keeping us informed. :slap:

Jeff informed me that they are working on adding compatibility with Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. I didn't ask about Windows 8. I presume if there's compatibility issues with that they'd be working on that as well

hello, i m tring to install readynas remote(windows 8 app) on windows 8 but i ve problem with leafnets and installation crash. Please, somebody have a solution?
