ReadyNas Ultra 4 sabnzbd connection issues
This post:
applies to my RNUltra4, too. Has worked like a charm for many years - was able to dl via the ReadyNas on Monday. As of yesterday morning, with NO CHANGES BEING MADE TO ANYTHING (either router or unit) the unit cannot access external websites. I can access it via the LAN, and see listings / admin screens etc., but when it tries to connect to an external service (e.g. couchpotato / sabnzbd) returns server error.
No solutions posted to the thread above. Hoping that someone may be able to help.....
Ah ... bloody ISP changed DNS settings and these needed to be updated on the Network --> Global Settings screen. Problem solved.

I have marked your problem as solved.
If setting a static I.P. generally I would recommend setting it in the router settings (assigning a static I.P. to the MAC address of the NIC in the NAS) rather than in the web admin page of the NAS. That way provided the router is configured correctly you shouldn't have problems like this.
