replicate speed
hi all, I am evaluating the the use of replicate between 2 of my readynas ( ultra 4 en ultra 2) however speed is really depressing " Copy start time: 2011-07-29 20:46 Total files processed:...
Here's the summary from my latest Replicate job (source and target NAS are both on the local network at the moment). Both are ReadyNAS Pro Business NASs, with Gig-E.
Copy start time: 2011-08-02 01:04
Total files processed: 457498
Total files transferred: 19937
Total files size: 735.95 GB
Total files size transferred: 78.51 GB
Average speed: 49.53 MB/s
Exit code: 0 (Ok)
Copy end time: 2011-08-02 01:31
If you're copying a lot of small files, then the average speed could go way down.
