Request for Python 2.6.6
Hi I was really happy to see the pyload add-on here, and then immidiately VERY ANGRY when I saw this page http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=46969 That page is for the Python 2.6...

While the source code for open source software remains free, licenses generally tend not to forbid selling installers provided it remains clear that open source software is being used.
Developers like WhoCares? spend many, many hours developing add-ons and testing them to make sure they're stable. A very small fee to support this work is not outrageous in my view. He used to rely on donations but the donation rate was extremely low. If a fee was not charged then he would be able to do far less development. Also don't forget he does try to help users who encounter problems.
If you want to compile Python yourself you can, but I would argue that the cost of your time would be greater than the cost of buying the add-on.
