RSYNC over SSH ports
I am waiting on my second Duo for off site Rsync over SSH. I will do a local initial back up but after that it will be small incremental back ups so speed is not an issue. I have set up my dyndns ...
v1 is still available, I think at least in some places though it will become increasingly difficult to obtain. Personally, I wouldn't recommend purchasing a v1 unit. If you want Rsync over SSH you really should get a Pro Series device e.g. Pro 4 which has this feature.
The v2 doesn't support Rsync as a feature. Rsync is on the NAS but there's no option for it in the GUI. However if you are comfortable with the Linux command line you could SSH in and set it up manually (this is unsupported).
