SickBeard/SickRage on ReadyNAS Duo (SPARC)

I am using a ReadyNAS Duo for over a year now. The device works like a charm and gives me all the options I want on a NAS.

I used to download torrents/NZB manualy, but I started using CouchPotato lately to automate the movies I download. Works fine so I wanted the same solution for the TV shows I download. To do this, I downloaded SickRage (former SickBeard): https://community.netgear.com/t5/Community-Add-ons/SickBeard-Sparc/td-p/807472

Since I already have Python installed (version v2.7.3-rnsparc-0.5.2) it should not be a problem installing SickRage on my NAS. After installing the add-on, it does not seem to work. The add-on does not start (the dot that's supposed to be green in ReadyNAS Frontview is grey):

SickRage

When I start the app manualy through Frontview, the service failes to start:

SickRage 2

When I start the service through SSH, it does work. But since the service shuts down as soon as I stop the SSH session, this is not a workable solution.

What can cause the add-on to malfunction?

    Hello WoTeX89,

    Welcome to the community!

Please make sure the ReadyNAS is getting on the Internet. Also, maybe installing Python2.6 is a must instead for this add-on and not version 2.7.

It may be best to PM the developer WhoCares_ if same problem.

    Regards,

I have not received a response from the developer (WhoCares_) yet.

When I check his profile, he does not seem to be quite active lately. The date he last visited is 2015-09-26.

Anyone else has any idea why SickRage is nog working?
