[super_poussin] request webcam security soft
Super-poussin,
Could u, please, make a soft for the ReadyNas duo.
It would be nice, if the soft works with usb webcam or/and ip cam.
Thanks.
I use and enjoy your product from here : viewforum.php?f=47

- Hello,
On a ReadyNAS Pro with FW4.2.5 I installed super-poussin's beta addon and now have no access to frontview. Has anyone else encountered this? If so, is there a quick fix or do I need to perform a firmware reinstall?
TIA.
Cheers. - super_poussinVirtuoso

Thanks, John - super_poussinVirtuoso

Yes thank you... Kmotion is now running and frontview is back. Now I need to figure out how to configure "motion" to work with a Foscam IPCam.
Cheers- super_poussinVirtuosoopen one of the config example an change the ip with one of your cam .
you need to know which url to use to get stream super-poussin wrote: open one of the config example an change the ip with one of your cam .

I now have motion capturing to /c/webroot/webcam/images/20091030/01/tmp but no live video on Kmotion.
Is Live video in Kmotion already implemented in this beta?
EDIT: I'll answer this myself :? Live video is implemented. I needed to do a "kmotion_reload" for changes in motion.conf to take effect. I'll RFM before asking questions - gleapmanAspirantI want to expose two IP cameras on my home network through the web share on a Duo so we can monitor the house remotely. Will this add-on allow us to do that?
Since we would use this only when we are out of the house (and not using the Duo for anything else), it doesn't matter if the add-on uses all of the Duo's resources when the cameras are online.
(What a great add-on. Thanks super_poussin for building it.) - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThe beta add-on is not for the Duo. It's for x86 ReadyNas.

The NV is a Sparc ReadyNas like the Duo. It's on a different platform to the Pro so requires stuff to be compiled separately.
Add-on idea sounds great. Would be interested once it's stable.
Would be cool to be able to setup a few cameras at home so if someone comes into the ReadyNas room at home...
