Hi,first time ReadyNAS user. (Duo, Raid 4.1.8.) I just downloaded Transmission, but upon installing it said "error upon installing"After that I still got some messages ("If you like this..." / "You need to set settings..." ), however....I cant launch, remove, or do anything with it now. It is located in my Services > Installed Add ons screen, but when I try to do something with it, my browser freezes...Any clue how I can undo this faulty installation alltogether? Also......anybody a clue how I can determine if I have a Duo V1 or Duo V2....? I figured, nothing bout V2 mentioned on the box, so it must be a V1, and thus Sparc, right?

If its running RAIDiator 4.1.8 its definately Duo v1, with sparc CPU.Duo v2 RAIDiator versions start with 5.3.x

I've had the same problem with my new ReadyNas Ultra 2.The solution to deleting the add on with me was to reinstall the OS via the boot menu of the NAS. After that somehow it did delete the add on when i asked for it.But now I'm still without a torrent program. Can't get either Transmission or uTorrent to work. I believe i got uTorrent installed and functioning correctly, but when I press "launch it" for the uTorrent GUI it can't open the page... Very frustrating, thought there was more support on the NAS then I am experiencing these first days.

Some one please help. Transmission won't install correctly, or it has to take hours and I'm being impatient.And when I press "launch it" with the uTorrent add on it emediatly opens a new safari tab saying it failed to open page http://192.168.178.29:8080/gui/

The only Add on that works now is ReadyNas Remote.Also got Plex working a bit I think, but my PS3 didn't find it, and I just read that Plex doesn't support PS3. So deleted that one as well. Another set-back.

Transmission: Error upon installation, cant delete now

Hi,
