Trasmission stopped working ReadyNAS 104 firmware 6.4.0

All of the sudden my Transmission stopped working checking chkconfig, transmission isn't enable so I tried to but still getting error.

root@nas:~# chkconfig transmission on
insserv: Service networking has to be enabled to start service transmission-daemon
insserv: exiting now!
/sbin/insserv failed, exit code 1

starting manually exit 0 

oot@voidness-nas:~# service transmission start
Starting bittorrent client transmission-daemon...
Starting bittorrent client transmission-daemon succeeded

however its not working, as I cannot connect to the gui using a browser, further checking with netstat and telnet, the system is not listening on 8181.

root@voidness-nas:~# telnet localhost 8181
Trying ::1...
Trying 127.0.0.1...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused

this is really weird why is it asking for networking ? and why all of the sudden it stopped working when i have not made any changes ?

please help
