I’m a complete Linux novice and only had my ReadyNAS Duo for about a month but I managed to get this plug-in working a treat without any real problems.
I have a few questions:
1. Is it possible to display a live video feed in the web page rather than the JPEG generated every 5 seconds?
2. Can you move the ‘webcam’ folder into a different location out of the Media folder as I would prefer to have a dedicated top level share for this? I’ve looked at the /c/media/webcam/.webcamrc file and the /etc/frontview/addons/bin/WEBCAM/start.sh file but I’m reluctant to make any modifications as I’m not familiar with the way this works.
If you can offer any advice regarding these questions it would be appreciated :)
P.S. Thank you Geoff for putting the time and effort into this!
