What add ons do I need to run XBMC?

I have been using Plex which I like but i'm having issues with the iPad and no support being offerd. I was thinking about trying XBMC next to stream all of my media. Sorry if the following questions ...

So all I need to do is enable DLNA on my Nas and XBMC should see all of my media?

Are there any add ons that work with XBMC?
