What PHP addon do I need for net2FTP on duo v1?
Hi. Hoping someone here can help me with this.
The instructions for the net2FTP add-on created by super-poussin (http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=29223) state that I need to "install PHP add-on" first and re-boot the NAS. Looking through the community add-ons, it wasn't clear which PHP add-on I should use. Is this one: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=54543 by WhoCares ok for the purposes of the net2FTP add-on? If not, what should I be using?
Also, I see that super-poussin has posted two different FTP solutions - one the net2FTP and the other eXTplorer. Basically, I just want to be able to access the files on my website share so that I can make changes to the website I host on my ReadyNAS while I'm away from the home network. ReadyNAS Remote isn't really an option for me because I can't download the software on the work computer (which is where I am much of time I'm away from the home network), so I'm hoping a FTP solution will allow me to do this.
Cheers
Greg

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYes use WhoCares?'s PHP add-on. Not sure about those other add-ons but you could perhaps try them both and see which you prefer.
Oh and make sure your backup is up to date. Also if you install EnableRootSSH it would be easier to troubleshoot if something goes wrong. - Greggio_fAspirantThanks, mdgm. I'll make a note to do that.
