ReadyDLNA and FTP are included in the firmware. There are ReadyDLNA update add-ons available: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=27946

Do note that you can't migrate your disks from the v1 to the v2 due to the different RAID format. So do make sure you're getting what you think you are. See How to tell whether I have a Duo v1 or Duo v2 or NV+ v1 or NV+ v2

IPv6 should be able to be added to the Duo/NV+ v2 in a future firmware update. IPv6 is already on x86 ReadyNAS (e.g. NVX/Ultra/Pro)

Not sure what the limit is but it would be something very large as well. Way more users than you'll ever need.
