Hello miogpsrocks,
Sorry but can you explain further how the camera is connected to the NAS or how do you use the NAS with it? Need more info.

Hello.
I have an USB SD card reader and I remove the SD card from my various digital cameras and proceeded to cut and paste the picture files into the raid system.
After a family vacation, I had several cameras and many of them are the same brand, Sony, Nikon,etc.. since so many pictures were taken, there are duplicate file names although the files themselves are different pictues.
I'm not sure if there is any type of theory as to why some of the pictures would not be there when "Copy but keep both files renaming duplicate files( 2)" option was selected.
Perhaps a file system scan from my PC may have identified them as orphan files and not achknowledge the (2) after each file name as being a separate unique file?
Very odd indeed.

Is it easy for you to reproduce this? Perhaps create a test share on the NAS, and do the copy to the test share.
Also, are you using the built-in windows file copy? Some utilties (like teracopy) are designed to replace the built-in windows drag and drop.
