I think it's pretty clear that this is a network issue (the bridged connection has to be dropping), since moving to wired ethernet resolves it.
So there's nothing you can do in the NAS to fix it Options include
- fixing the bridged uplink somehow (move the extender closer to the router, try a different extender, switch to 2.4 ghz, ...).
- switching to a different technology (for instance powerline or a mesh router. Or run ethernet and use router B as an AP).
- moving the NAS to router B. Then there will still be issues when accessing large files from router A, but not when you are accessing the NAS from router B.
