Client playing the video is a HTPC. Should be gigabit connected.
I have a Netgear ProSafe FVS318N router with good ethernet cables so my whole network is supposed to be Gigabit.
I also have the Ultra version (RNDP400U-100NAS) but i am using it for storing other files so i would like to avoid switching my movies to that one.
For $550 plus shipping i was expecting 1080p streaming without lag. Like i said the lag is really minor but still noticable in fast action scenes.
BTW by Blu-Ray are compressed. Around 12GB for a 1h30 1080p movie.
