1080p streaming ?
I have a ReadyNAS (the gray one with 4 HDD but not the Ultra version). I'm using it to put my 1080p movies and then i play them from my TV. However, i have noticed a small lag when things are mo...
Just wanted to add the full BluRay streaming requires about 7 MB/s, A 12 GB 90 minute movie requires about 2 MB/s. So all of these products are > 10x faster than what is needed.

Are you seeing the video stall and rebuffer? Or a audio/video lip sync problem? Or the frame rate appearing to slow down? I am not sure what you mean by "lag" exactly.

BTW, the original BluRay are compressed, your files are just compressed again to a still smaller size.
