4.2.20 : Volume expansion will not work beyond 16 TB...
Can someone explain to me what that means or give us more details ...

- I did initially have something like 1*2To (or 2*1To) I don't remember exactly
I was not aware of the 8To limitation
I use xraid2 with single redundancy
I never did factory reset
I needed to use offline expansion to get 10TB
thanks - Since the offline expansion failed the second time, I think you will need to do the factory reset.
