4200v1 Update to 6.7.4
I updated my 4200v1 from 6.6.1 to 6.7.4 with no problem except the Performance page shows fan 1-5, looks ok. The temp thermometers show 4 cores and temp 1, 2, and 3. Also the graph below for the...

Is this a stable version?
Thanks

Can you do what? The solution I pointed to for the fan and CPU temperature issue is done via SSH after the unit is updated.
The updates have been coming so fast and furious that I've been hesitant to update to 6.7.4 on legacy equipment (which is all but one of my NASes). I'm sure Netgear has not had time or resources to fully test each one on every legacy platform and there has been no beta testing. I've only updated my Pro2 "sandbox" system. I've seen no issues there, but there's a big difference between a 2-bay and 12-bay system.

Seems like this upgrade is impacting everyone in different ways. Mine isn't related, mine is a performance issue which render the NAS very slow even for reading and writing and my logs are clean. Lets hope they have a new update soon as it's impacting my functionality at home.

I wish they would do better testing before releasing an update. Seems the updates have been problematic for a lot of users.

I doubt any formal testing is done of the legacy ReadyNASes at all, other than what mdgm might do, since they're not even supported platforms for 6.x. Upgrading them to the latest 6.x is always going to be a crapshoot.

So if that's the case remove the legacy hardware from the update list because all it's doing is breaking perfectly good work hardware which leaves a bad taste for the NETGEAR product.

I thought 6.5.1 and 6.5.2 was just fine. Everything worked.
From 6.6.1 on, my networking to the web page is slow, through Windows network takes 5 or 6 tries to get to the folders.
6.5.2 was ok.
Does anyone know if there was a fix needed for the legacy hardware to be updated past 6.5.2?
Can you go back to 6.5.2 from 6.7.4?
I have two pro 6 and one 4200v1 on os 6.
