6.0.5 changelog

Not yet. The 6.0.5 firmware has only been posted on the update server, so far. Hopefully NetGear will post Release Notes tomorrow.

Sad that a software release from 5 days ago still has no changelog/release notes posted.

6.0.5 working OK for me in my environment. Only currently using the RN102 as a secondary destination for backup files. 52MB/s write speed for single large files. Not bad for a ARM NAS.

6.0.6 is up now, still without release notes or GPL package.

yay 6.0.6... but would very much like to know what actually changed. This process has become so depressingly opaque.

Holy cow... just went to check the official netgear support page for RN516 to see if maybe they had OS and notes posted there. The OS download is still 6.0.4. :( D00dz! Where's the release notes?

I'd like to know more about this mixing of Readynas news/updates/files/support with the Netgear site? I recall a message from Jeff last year mentioning they were going to use netgear.com more, but it just seems like a mess the way they're doing it now. Actually, the Netgear site overall doesn't seem well organized.

Just whatever they do, I sure hope they keep these forums intact. Do not integrate into the Netgear forums that require moderator approval for every post.
