6.8.0 Failed to Install
So I went into the interface and saw that the 6.8.0 firmware was available. I clicked on install (while a little voice inside me said, "Maybe you should read teh release notes first?"). I didn't. Now my system is frozen at Booting 47%... The release notes said not to use the interface.
How can I fix this?

Actually it says not to install or uninstall apps after 6.8.0 is running.

If you purchased your RN516 between 1 June 2014 and 31 May 2016, then you have lifetime chat support at my.netgear.com. I'd start there if you have it.
Of course you could still use paid support anyway, but you would likely be charged.
Another option is to try re-booting the NAS in read-only mode and see if that works. If it does, update your backups and check the disk health. If they look good, then try a restart.
