Access to NAS 104

Hi,

a few days ago I noticed that  my NAS 104 had a blinking blue led and also noticed that there was an error message which said out of memory 36c . I tried to access the device through the Ready Cloud but I couldn't get in to view the folders. I noticed that there was a message that there was no internet or that the device was swicthed off.  The device was not even visible on my network. I tried to switch it off but no buttons worked. So my only option left was to unplug the device. Bingo it worked. In fact after rebooting my laptop, at least I could see the folders through my network and the error message was gone, however when I tried accessing through the Ready Cloud, there was no way in spite of the fact that I was using the single sign in. In fact when I tried acessing through the Manage button a pop up window requested that I log in again! Still there was no way of accessing the folder through this method. A round about way was using the admin and password system. I checked the logs for any possible explanation but there wasn't anything which could have resulted in such a situation. Could anyone please explain how can I revert back to accessing the NAS through Ready cloud in a normal manner?

    Hello jdou,

Normally when you access the NAS locally, you can simply use its local IP address when you do not have Internet connection or the ReadyCloud is not working.

Is the ReadyCloud still enabled on the admin page? If so and it has your SSO account, please check under Accounts and see if it has email and name. Are you also not able to get to the NAS via ReadyCloud portal (I assume you are using ReadyCloud desktop client).

The out of memory error has something to do with memory-hogging activities. Please try disabling or turning off some apps that you do not use. You may also check this discussion.
