Accidntly created a folder I cannot acces
Hi, I recently installed Sickbeard and Sabnzb and tried to direct my downloads to a folder :
/d/Series/1.HD en DVD series/1.Nieuwe afleveringen but I accidently typed a dot in the line right here /d/.Series
The problem is that I cannot locate the folder anyware wich I not really a big problem itself but there's already some stuff downloaded to that folder wich I want to relocate, is there some 3rd party software that I need to install to browse hidden folders ?

- Rufus666AspirantNo one ?
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredIt is a hidden folder.
Are you running Windows or Mac? No need for 3rd party software. A setting change would enable you to see hidden folders. If you know the path of a hidden share you can browse to it manually even without a settings change. - Rufus666AspirantThanks for your reply, I am on Win7, and the folder is probably hidden, but when browsing to it or copieing the path name in my browser I cannot get in.
What setting can I try to change ? - StephenBGuru - Experienced User
In windows explorer, select "folder options" under "tools". Click on the "view tab" and select "show hidden files, folders, and drives".Rufus666 wrote: Thanks for your reply, I am on Win7, and the folder is probably hidden, but when browsing to it or copieing the path name in my browser I cannot get in.

So you are not connecting through Windows Explorer? Since this is a one-time adjustment, I am not sure why you "need" to see your folders any particular way.Rufus666 wrote: Lol I always have that on, that doesnt show my folders, I need to see my folders like this :

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserThe normal way would be to access folders with windows explorer (not to be confused with internet explorer).
If you are set up to show hidden files in explorer, then entering \\nasname\.Series in the explorer address bar should should you the folder contents (using your real nas name of course). If you get a password prompt, you can use your NAS admin credentials.
If you are have 4.x.x firmware (e.g. not an v2) then if you use the admin logon you can also enter \\nasname\c or \\nasname\d - which will allow you to browse all the folders on the volume. - Rufus666AspirantThat's exactly what i tried, not only with the C and D but the other folders also, I can only acces the folders that are " shared by default". Also put the dollar $ sign after the adres.
Also tried this with IP (instead of NAS name)
Isnt there some mode/ applications to browse shared and "system hidden files" ?
There must be a way since I can browse these folders with sickbeard without a problem
