1002030001 Commit failed when creating a new folder

Fresh setup. When I create a new folder I get "1002030001 Commit failed" (see pic). I refresh the WebUI and the folder is created and usable. I get the same error when I delete the folder. Any suggestions? Thx in adv.

ReadyNAS 422

FW: 6.10.9

RAID 1

4GB x 2 Iron Wolf HDD

HDD Encryption

X-Raid: No

    Thank you, log sent.

As I said in my PM, the error is coming from the NAS iTunes server.  If you don't need that service, then I suggest just turning it off.

    Are you creating a share?

I am wondering if the OS partition is full. Try downloading the full log zip file from the logs page.  There is a lot of information in there.

If there is no data on the NAS yet, you can also try "perform factory default" on system->settings->update.  That will reformat the disks and do a fresh factory install.

Check the OS partition use first, as StephenB recommended.  If that's not the problem, I'm wondering if it's a problem with the configuration of one particular protocol or snapshots.  Try creating a share and deselect all protocols and no snapshots and see if you still get the error.  If not, try to figure out which protocol is creating the error through process of elimination.

  • Hello everyone,

So I just saw the replies and thank you very much.

-I powered up the ReadyNAS to get the logs and noticed other folders appeared that I did not have last night (see pic w/ green circles).

-Also last night deleted test folders, refreshed screen last night and they were gone but reappeared this morning (see red circles).

-Create a new folder this morning and no errors (blue circle).

-Strange cause the RN HDDs were synced. I pulled the LOG file but can't upload the Zip. Is there and specific file I can attach as a PDF from the log to see what was going on?

    Thanks

It's best not to post it publicly.

If you'd like me to take a look, then upload the zip to cloud storage (dropbox, google drive, etc) and send me a PM (private message) with a link to the zip.  Make sure the permissions allow anyone with the link to download.  You send the PM using the envelope icon in the upper right of the forum page.
