Adding a disk to ReadyNAS Pro for RAID5/6 volume expansion?
I have been running a Pro Business unit with 4 2TB disks, configured with one RAID5 and one RAID6 volume. Now, I added another disk and want to extend the two volumes to use the new disk. Frontview on...
Can anyone from ReadyNAS please confirm that the suggested method (pull out one disk after another), which I consider a bit dangerous, will indeed solve the problem so that I can extend both volumes to include the new disk, or suggest an alternative?
I just updated to 4.2.17 and there still is no button that would allow me to extend volume D.
